Producer: AndrewBurnett
After two weeks of work and travel in Colombia, our group of 12 arrived in Panama City for a couple of days of R and R. Our hotel was right on the Panama Canal so ships going by were constant. We visited the Canal Locks and spent a whole day (seperate video) at a Traditional Waunaan Village. Check it out! Produced by Andrew Burnett, Come Out And Play Productions, andrew@goodimpressions.us

It's a Jungle! Part One -Traditional Waunaan Village- Panama Canal

Our group had the privilage to visit a Traditional Waunaan Village on the Panama Canal. This village was started about 30 years ago when a family of Waunaan People came up from Colombia to settle. This was an authentic village and not a "Show Village" just for tourists. We received the invitation because a women who grow up at our church married one of the men from this village. Alex and Jennifer Cabezon founded a children's home so village kids could get a good education. You will see scenes of daily life in the village, cooking, native crafts and transportation using dugout canoes - the prefered mode of travel for the Waunaan.
