Covering more than 292,000 hectares, Nitmiluk National Park is located north-east of Katherine. Nitmiluk is home to the spectacular Katherine Gorge, a series of 13 sandstone gorges carved over a billion years by the Katherine River. The impressive gorge walls and white sandy beaches can be explored on foot, by canoe or on a cruise and are stunning from the air on a scenic helicopter flight. It is a haven for nature lovers, with its rugged landscapes, dramatic waterfalls and lush gorges providing an abundance of flora and fauna.

A riverbed hike in the forest leads to one of Costa Rica's less traveled and magnificent waterfalls. Hitoy Cerere is a park on the east coast of Costa Rica, just south of Limon and through endless Banana Plantations.

Day six of my 2005 vacation in China. My last day in Wuyishan before heading off to Shanghai. Went to this place called Green Dragon Waterfall. Soundtrack is from the anime Karekano.

This is the longest fall of water in Europe. We walked to the top, and found there was a high valley and that we could walk along the river. I love the film of the rushing water on the way back down.
