Almost all of Canada's 26 million egg-laying (battery) hens are kept in the most appalling conditions imaginable. They are crammed so tightly into small wire cages that their feathers chafe off. Feces from hens above cover the hens on lower levels. And this is standard for the industry... This farm is owned by Dr. Loyd Weber, a veterinarian, who was a member of the dean's veterinary advisory council at the University of Guelph at the time of filming.

Touring Van 2005 is a documentary dedicated to the fans in the Pearl Jam community. Three guys from Vancouver, Jason, Stefan, and Tak, live out their dream by taking a van across their own country in an attempt to follow Pearl Jam on their 2005 Canadian Tour. They live the rock n roll life for a month, while traveling on the road and seeing 16 concerts in 15 cities coast to coast. Along the way, they meet hundreds of fans from all over the world to share their love for the music with, some of whom jump aboard to join in on the touring van experience. The excitement of the road trip begins ...
July 2005, after 47 hours of driving without stopping Geoff Dean, Kouros Mousavi, and Kevin Grevey arrived at the Coast Mountains of British Columbia just south of Alaska. This is a montage of that trip.
