First attempt at a time-lapse. camera battery ran out in the middle of the night so its about 3-4 hours worth of footage. Intervals set to a pic every 2 minutes. I used a nikon d200 set to take photos in 2 minute intervals. The reason the sun never comes up is that the battery ran out, I later got a power supply. Since this was an image sequence, I used quicktime pro, which has the simplest way to combine them in to a movie.

1-day time-lapse of the pyramid at Pyramid Lake, Nevada. August 2006. Pyramid Lake is located between Reno and Black Rock Desert where Burning Man takes place every year. There are many camping areas all around the lake. I've tried about a dozen, I love the lower camping area at Popcorn rock for instance but the beach by the Pyramid is my favorite spot. You need to get a permit from the <a href="http://www.plpt.nsn.us/">Paiute tribe</a> before camping there.
