A Teenager in Rome: Sightseeing & The Colosseum
Watch
Producer: travelswithsheila
http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Our last full day in Rome with a busy schedule. Out of the hotel, bags packed...the Roman Forum and the granddaddy of all Super Bowl arenas, the Colosseum. Big sigh...even longer lines...but it was worth it. The Colosseum was laden with men dressed as Gladiators hoping a tourist would have their photo taken with them, groups of Italian teenagers on field trips. What more could a teenage girl want?

Rome - The Pantheon
Watch
Producer: ainu
The Pantheon (from Greek Πάνθεον Pantheon, meaning "Temple of all the Gods") is a building in Rome, originally built as a temple to the seven deities of the seven planets in the state religion of Ancient Rome. It is the best preserved of all Roman buildings, and perhaps the best preserved building of its age in the world. Since the 7th century, the Pantheon has been used as a Christian church. A Man of God
Watch

When locals and tourists cross a high-traffic street in Rome, one with no green light and no red light, it can be a dangerous proposition. However, for a priest that crosses that same street, things work much better. Hmmm

the beggar and the beer
Watch
Producer: mrtravel
this video, shot in Rome by me, features the female street beggars, or better said, the actors that work the streets securing money from unsuspecting tourists. One woman in particular puts on quite an act, and interestingly, she drinks beer while she works, thus the title.

Americans, undaunted by all the reports of spiraling fares and overcrowding on flights to Europe this summer, coupled with an unfavorable exchange rate, are setting their jaws and vowing to join the annual tourist crush anyway.
