Video travelogue from a 21 day tour of Italy. The tour was hosted by Grand Circle Travel and included 5 days in Rome, 8 days on the Amalfi Coast and 8 days in Tuscany. Only having to move 3 times was a definite plus. The tour group consisted of 41 people. The experience was outstanding. Our tour guide, Emmy...the food and wine...the wonderful art, towns and people...made each day a memory to treasure. Italy moves high up on the list for a return visit.

www.romanlife-romeitaly.com We were out in Trastevere Rome, one Friday night in Mid December, and found this guy performing in the side streets. He was wearing a hat made from the beak of a stalk and had an array of shakers, hooters and maraccas attached to his legs and arms. I love characters like these, we were the first to stop and about 5 minutes later there was eventually quite a crowd. We gave him some money, and immediately after he whipped out his own CD that he had produced!Brilliant. You gotta love Rome, something and someone interesting around every corner!---

http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Our last full day in Rome with a busy schedule. Out of the hotel, bags packed...the Roman Forum and the granddaddy of all Super Bowl arenas, the Colosseum. Big sigh...even longer lines...but it was worth it. The Colosseum was laden with men dressed as Gladiators hoping a tourist would have their photo taken with them, groups of Italian teenagers on field trips. What more could a teenage girl want?
