Winter is just around the corner and Boreal on Donner Summit is open! Winter is peaking around the mountain tops as North Lake Tahoe gears up for Halloween with pumpkins and ghouls galore. More wet weather is on the way for the area but that is not dampening the spirits of trick or treaters. Holiday festivities are in full swing around the area, with pumpkin patches and costume parties for all ages. This video also includes some amazing Lake Tahoe sunrise footage as well as a tightrope walker making his way across a incredibly long Lake Forest meadow. The Fabulous Fall Celebration is underway in North Lake Tahoe. Wet weather is in the forecast even some snow possible in the higher elevations. Ski resorts around the region are gearing up for another winter but there is plenty to do before the snow flies.
