The city maintains an enchantment and authenticity; it's like a land untouched by time. The Medina of Essaouira (formerly "Mogador") is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed city.

This is a traveling tribute video to one of the best songs ever recorded by Smash Mouth. I was really disappointed by the music video produced by the record company. It just ignored what the song was about in favor of dancing bikini babes. It was sad. So, while on vacation in Morocco not so long ago, I was listening to the song on my ipod and thinking how much the song resonated with the current political situation in the world. Our camel trek was organized by good friend Ali Seggaoui from Hotel Maison Merzouga village of Hassi Labiad near town of Merzouga in southern Morocco.
