I got the chance to attend one of the most amazing festivals in New Zealand, the Wild Foods Festival located in the town of Hokitika. While there I was fortunate enough to cruise down the coast to Franz Josef Glacier where i did some ice climbing and hiking. Check it out.
This is a video taken during the glacier cruise in Greenland. I was surprised to see the glaciers melting rapidly - which can be one of the phenomena caused by global warming or simply because it is summer. But it seems that the temperature in Greenland has been increasing year by year, according to the Greenlanders I spoke during my trip. The narration is in Japanese.
The Gross Glockner,or Großglockner, 3798 m above sea level, is Austria's highest mountain. The Pasterze, Austria's biggest glacier, lies at the Großglockner's foot.
