A section of Star Wars episode 2 was filmed in this famous royal residence: La Reggia, the royal palace of Caserta Italy. La Reggia has 1,200 rooms, however not many are open to the public. Of equal beauty is the park behind La Reggia which extends over 120 hectares on slightly sloping land. It was designed by Luigi Vanvitelli and completed by his son Carlos in the 18th century.
