Description: http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com The nomads of the Eastern Tibet Plateau still live off the land, traveling with their yaks and black yak wool tents from summer home to winter home and back again. Yak dung (or poop) is formed into yak patties and used for fuel. This nomad Mother used her bare hands to pop additional yak patties in the fire when needed and move the burning coals around. Spinning yak fur, milking yaks...a very hard life.
