Description: We were on a mission to find this small reservation in the Talamanca Mountain area. We had read a bit about this area on the internet and really wanted to find out more.... More» It was pretty spiffy. This group of people has live the same way for thousands of years. Just in the last few year they've started embracing a bit of tourism. Don't know if that's good or not. But change is unstoppable.

I was on that road about three years ago and met some great Bri Bri Indians. I have been traveling like you for years and it's the only way to go. I am inspired to tell my stories as well. Thanks for the footage.

i was here july 26- august 1st 2008. I helped a man named marvin build a kitchen on the back of his house. then we went down to the reserve and met the old man he is now 108, he had us do a dance with him similar to the video. IT was awesome working with al the people they were so thankful for everything.
