This is known as condition Alpha. This time-lapse, entitled Condition: Awesome, is a playful and reassuring comment on the condition of the playa, almost no wind and flat playa bed, before Burning Man 2006.

I couldn't find Gerlach in the db. No <a href="http://www.city-data.com/city/Sutcliffe-Nevada.html">Sutcliffe</a> or <a href="http://www.city-data.com/city/Nixon-Nevada.html">Nixon</a> either which would be the closest towns to my Pyramid Lake movie. BRC
