Description: Ah, New York City. One of those places people tell you you should experience in your lifetime. What is it about New York that makes it so special? I've heard a lot about the Big Apple - the tall buildings, the taxis and their drivers, the subway system, the fact that you can find an open restaurant, or get take out at 2:30 in the morning. It's all about the energy and the attitude. For my first time, I told myself when I go it would be in autumn. I'd love to capture the fall colors in a city that's already vibrant! If it were another season, I would take black and white photos. I think New York is a very dramatic city. On the 4th of July in 2005, we watched Manhattan light up with fireworks from across Brooklyn. Black and white it is.
