Description: A section of Star Wars episode 2 was filmed in this famous royal residence: La Reggia, the royal palace of Caserta Italy. La Reggia has 1,200 rooms, however not many are open to the public. Of equal beauty is the park behind La Reggia which extends over 120 hectares on slightly sloping land. It was designed by Luigi Vanvitelli and completed by his son Carlos in the 18th century. It is a favorite location for Italians and visitors alike. Walk with us as we view the various waterfalls, basins filled with fish and fountains dedicated to the gods. Certainly not your everyday stroll.
