There are many islands placed in the inlets of the Rías Baixas. These are natural protected placed full of beaches and forests.
Cíes Islands are situated in the Ría de Vigo and make a nature barrier between the estuary and the sea. In order to arrive at Cíes Islands, there is a regular catamaran that, during the summertime, links Vigo, Baiona and Cangas with the archipelago.
Beach lovers can enjoy a whole day in Rodas beach, with its crystal-clear and calm waters and white sand. One of the most beautiful beaches of the world.
