The run on the river of Bangkok between sacred temles, markets on stilt houses and the royal golden palace .The chao praya river is a main highway, with barges every few minutes, ferrys darting between them, express boats that are faster than driving in the fanciful traffic. Weeds float upstream and down with the wind and tide. The color is as bad as it looks. Kids swim in it, but the express passengers don't let it splash on them.
