Description: This is a video montage of i-to-i volunteers working at a surf school in South Africa. The program began roughly 16 years ago when the proprietor of a surf shop told local street kids that he would teach them to surf, if they stayed off the streets and didn’t get in trouble. Sixteen years later, he has trained a South African surf champion as well as two other students who are on the national surf team.

Wow!!! Surfing... I also wanna learn it.....In how much time one could learn it??? Actually I am planning to visit Africa soon. I will be exploring Tanzania this time. Will it be possible for me to learn surfing??? I will be having cycling tours of the Serengeti National park. Also I will be going for wild life safari to enjoy wildlife viewing. Pls tell me if it would be possible for me to learn surfing in 4-5 days??? I will be having 5 days free from any activity.
