Description: I Must admit It's taken quite a while for someone to take the time to write in our Discussion Forum on our Blog site at www.selectworld.travel. But I was overwhelmed that our First Forum was opened up by Gerardina Di Biasi from The PALAZZO BELMONTE,Santa Maria di Castellabate,Salerno in Italy who suggested we took a look at this fabulous Hotel. An oasis in a modern world, Palazzo Belmonte, (Belmonte Palace), is a magnificent historical residence, nestled in an unspoilt coastal area of Southern Italy. The palace, which borders the characteristic little fishing village of Santa Maria di Castellabate, is located south of the Amalfi Coast, in one of the most idyllic places in the Mediterranean.

I have been to stay twice at the Palazzo and it is a stunning place- historical but low-key, and a perfect place to get some sand between your toes and enjoy unspoilt southern Italy.
