I was there two days before the murtis were smashed. It was a shock to see that someone had done that. I'm not sure why you call this a "hidden" temple, though. It is a very well-known temple.

..some corrections to the comments though....the deity identified as kali is in fact Godess Durga and the Lord identified as Ram is in fact Shri Vishnu..

This temple was vandalized by 6 Christians in August 2007; they were wearing masks and shouting that they had the blood of Jesus. Evidently all the murtis were severely damaged and they tried to burn the temple down.
