He was wearing a hat made from the beak of a stalk and had an array of shakers, hooters and maraccas attached to his legs and arms. I love characters like these, we were the first to stop and about 5 minutes later there was eventually quite a crowd. We gave him some money, and immediately after he whipped out his own CD that he had produced!Brilliant. You gotta love Rome, something and someone interesting around every corner!---

The building that appears to the right is the Victor Emmanuel Monument. The monuments sits against the Capitoline hill, and just behind Capitoline Hill is the Roman Forum which runs to the Colosseum.
