Reunited after the Groundhog’s counterpart, the Shadow, had fled Punxsutawney, PA (overwhelmed with the pressure that every time the Groundhog spotted his Shadow, the world faced six more weeks of winter), the lifelong pair were ready to conclude their cross-country trek, but then the Groundhog and Shadow split up again around Illinois!
