Deirdre created the i-to-i TEFL (Teaching English as a foreign language) at a time when people who wanted to teach English abroad didn’t have a lot of options. The only course that existed was a month long, and quite expensive. Though this was the standard for the time, Deirdre had become aware that there was a better way.
