He is portrayed holding a child but also many tiny works of art on his body are said to represent various stages of his life. Another one beside this shows a large sculpture recalling the star he wore on his beret.

We rented a private holiday home away from the usual tourist towns, and had a lovely laid back holiday. We still managed to see most of the sights - except the main tourist towns. Well, we did have a quick look, the tourist bit is all the same everywhere, wall to wall sunloungers and shops. The rest of the island is well worth seeing.
