CN Traveler’s got a new blog over at Concierge.com. They’ve assigned Canadian food and travel writer Mark Schatzker to go around the world in 80 days

Starting today, a version of Condé Nast Traveler’s Web outlet, Concierge.com, is available to cell phone-toting travelers as Concierge Mobile.

As of today, US citizens arriving by air from outside the 50 States, no matter what their point of origin, must have a passport to re-enter the country. (Unless you’re coming from Puerto Rico or the USVI, that is. Loophole!)

In honor of the coming New Year, the jet-setting folks at Condé Nast Traveler have rounded up a list of how 12:00 am, January 1 will be met in nine different places around the globe.

The results of the Condé Nast Traveler film poll are in, with the top 50 flicks, as chosen by readers, that captured a real sense of place and inspired them to travel.

Condé Nast Traveler is roundup-happy these days, following up their 2006 movie poll with a feature in this month’s issue about music and travel, Around the World in 50 Songs.

Condé Nast Traveler is currently holding a poll to pick the films released since July, 2005 that most inspired viewers to travel.
